Amateur Bodybuilding - Body Building in Starting

Either you are an experienced bodybuilder or an amateur one, only those achieve success that set formal goals and work very hard on proper workouts of body building. If you are an amateur body builder you are required to learn proper workout programs then only you will be able to focus better, with more confidence, and will get better results. For beginners, setting goals play a very specific role in body building. Once you have determined your specific bodybuilding goal you will thoroughly do workouts in order to become a famous body builder. Working out on your bodybuilding goal is a great way to help you stay organized, focused, and feeling in control.

Many amateur body building competitions come into existence with the growing enthusiasm of amateurs. Even high profile body builders like Arnold Schwarzenegger came forward to promote this type of body building competition and organized international amateur body building championship for the amateurs. Arnold has always been involved in promoting such type of competition and is popular in the name of Arnold sports organization. And this Arnold sports festival, world gym fitness, and the fitness factory have announced the expansion of the second annual Arnold amateur bodybuilding. Fitness & figure competitions in the name of Arnold amateur IFBB international bodybuilding, fitness and figure championships .   This expanded worldwide competition will be held on February 28, 29 & March 1, 2008 at the historic Veterans Memorial and the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus .

To prepare for amateur body building competition competition, you have to get started with a strong training regimen. Have a good trainer who will train you for this purpose and try to do workouts with a partner. And follow proper workout routine in this respect. Experts suggest some body building workouts routine that you can follow, in rotation: 

  • Monday: Back, triceps
  • Tuesday: Quads, calves
  • Wednesday: Off
  • Thursday: Chest, biceps
  • Friday: Hamstrings, calves
  • Saturday: Traps, shoulders
  • Sunday: Off

You can follow this routine and can later on interchange the workout schedule also with other depending on the need. During this schedule, work 8 to 15 reps in each workout.  Generally people starts at 12 reps per set for 3 sets and continues with that rep range until they become able to increase weight. These all things if done properly and regularly, then it will effectively help you in making a very good amateur body builder.
