TWI and WCE are pleased to outline further information about the qualification & selection process for The MET Rx World Strongest Man 2005. They are also pleased to announce that Dr. Terry Todd will become the Head Referee for all World's Strongest Man Super Series events as well as The MET-Rx World's Strongest Man 2005.

The 2004 final of the World Strongest Man METRx Championship took place in Nassau in the Bahamas. Three of the six finalists impressed me especially as great role models.

Dr. Connelly has devoted his life to the science of nutrition and fitness and is considered around the world as a leading expert in the field of human nutrition and metabolism. A summa cum laude graduate in nero-physiology from Boston University, Dr. Connelly has distinguished his career in anesthesiology, internal medicine, intensive care and cardiovascular medicine.

Since 1977, the most powerful men from around the world come together—head-to-head, bicep-to-bicep—to compete for the title of the MET-Rx® World's Strongest Man. 2004 was no exception, the strongmen rocked the island of Nassau, Bahamas, where they competed in events that, once again, tested the limits of human strength and endurance. Look for the 2004 MET-Rx World's Strongest Man Competition on ESPN and ESPN2 starting January of 2005.
