Role of Water in Weight LossSeveral weight loss techniques have been tried and tested-dieting, aerobic exercises, weight training, yoga. Now, it's back to the one fact that most overweight people overlook. Water is the essence to weight loss. The latest entrant on the weight loss bandwagon is a system referred to as 'Get Think for Life'. During the process of weight loss, fat is burned into calories. For the efficient functioning of this process, water is very important. During the burning process, toxins are released. And water serves as an agent to remove these harmful toxins. So, it follows that you should drink a lot more water than regular, when you following a weight loss program. Another key to weight loss is incorporating fiber into the diet. It's a known fact that fiber is easily digested when there is enough water present in your body. Yet, another way in which water helps you lose weight is by making you eat less. By drinking more water, you tend to feel full. This fullness prevents you from eating more. The amount of water required for your body depends upon you weight, your activity level, and your climatic conditions. But you should consume as least 8 glasses of water in a day. People who drink sufficient quantity of water pass clear and pale urine. If your urine is darker in color, it is an indication that you need more water. It may sound funny, but drink water to lose weight safely.
